As of today we are “officially official” !

… & yep - we’ve sure had a productive week 👍

At last Sat’s AGM we elected a new club board for 2023 (by unanimous consent) … we finally officially ratified our club’s constitution & bylaws … and we also voted unanimously to incorporate (voting on our Articles of Incorporation) & for the club to apply for tax exemption/501c3 status.

As of today we are now officially incorporated as a Virginia “nonstock” non-profit corporation, we secured our own FEIN - allowing us to open our official club bank accounts (rather than an old school cash box!) - which we’ve done today - and we also today submitted our 501c3 application to the IRS … phew 😮‍💨 😅

Glad to at least put all that paperwork behind us !!! 🙌 (Thanks to all who’ve been involved in the processes.)
